Showfeed vs Showing Suite and HomeFeedback
Showing Suite, whose feedback product is HomeFeedback, was acquired by ShowingTime in 2017 and has been under Zillow since 2021. So an evaluation of it is largely an evaluation of the ShowingTime family. Showfeed is independent, does only feedback, and does not schedule showings.

The first thing to know is who owns it
Showing Suite was founded in 2001 and built a set of products around showing logistics, including HomeFeedback for feedback collection, plus Home Followup, Showing Sync, Showing Calendar and Foreclosure Feedback. ShowingTime acquired the company in January 2017, and Zillow Group acquired ShowingTime in 2021.
That matters if you arrived here searching for an alternative, because the two products most agents compare are now part of the same corporate family. If your reason for looking is that you want something outside the Zillow ecosystem, that reason applies to both of them equally.
It also means the useful comparison for most people is the Showfeed and ShowingTime one, which covers the scheduling-platform-versus-feedback-tool distinction in detail. This page covers what is specific to Showing Suite.

What an independent tool actually changes
Two things, and it is worth being precise because the rest is marketing.
The first is that a feedback product bundled into a scheduling suite is built to serve the suite. Its feedback form tends to sit inside the same account system agents use for booking, which is convenient for the platform and is an extra step for the buyer's agent you are asking for a favor. Showfeed has no account system to protect, so the link opens directly on question one.
The second is roadmap independence. When a feedback module is one line item inside a much larger platform owned by a much larger company, it gets the attention that line item deserves. That is not a criticism of anyone, it is how product portfolios work. Feedback is the whole of what Showfeed does, so it is where all of the attention goes.
Neither of these is a reason to leave a system that is working for you. They are the reason a separate tool can exist at all.
Where staying put is the right answer
If you are already inside the ShowingTime ecosystem and its feedback is producing answers, adding a second tool solves a problem you do not have. Two systems sending two feedback requests for one showing is worse than either one alone, because the buyer's agent ignores both.
If your suite handles scheduling, lockbox sync and calendar coordination, that is real infrastructure and nothing on this site replaces it. Showfeed does not schedule and does not manage access, deliberately.
The case for looking elsewhere is narrow and specific: requests go out and answers do not come back, or the answers that do come back never turn into something your seller can read without you assembling it by hand.
How to evaluate any feedback tool, including this one
Four questions that separate tools that produce responses from tools that produce dashboards. They apply as much to Showfeed as to anything else.
- Does the responder need an account?
A sign-in screen between the link and the first question is where most buyer's agents stop. Ask for a live demo link and see whether you can complete it as a stranger, on a phone, in under fifteen seconds.
- How does the request arrive?
Email is triaged alongside listing alerts. A text is read within minutes. If a product only emails, its response rate is capped by that choice regardless of how good the form is.
- How many times does it chase?
One reminder is helpful. Three is a system that will cost you goodwill with agents you list against for years. Ask what the cap is and whether you can lower it.
- What does the seller actually see?
Ask to see a real seller-facing report, not a screenshot of an agent dashboard. If the answer is that the agent compiles and forwards it, the tool is collecting feedback but not saving you the work.
